Meet The Team
As Co-Founder of Hye Cultural Alliance, Raya has always felt that the Armenian community in Greater Boston could benefit from more opportunities to connect through arts, culture, and shared experiences. Inspired by that vision, she helped establish Hye Cultural Alliance to create memorable concerts, film screenings, and cultural events that celebrate Armenian heritage while bringing people of all generations together.
For Raya, these events are about more than entertainment—they are about building community, preserving culture, and creating lasting connections. Through the success of Hye Cultural Alliance's events, the organization is committed to giving back by supporting individuals, families, and organizations facing financial hardship, both in Armenia and in the Greater Boston community.

Founder

Naira Balagyozian is the co-founder of the Hay Cultural Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Armenian heritage while bringing people together through culture and the arts. As a historian, educator, and radio host, she has devoted many years to teaching Armenian history, culture, literature, and traditions to both children and the wider community. Inspired from an early age by her mother’s love for art, culture, and helping others, Naira envisioned an organization that would not only present concerts, films, theatrical performances, and other cultural events but also support people and organizations in need. Together with her co-founder Raya Gevorgyan and dedicated team, she continues to work toward enriching the Armenian community, hoping to grow the organization also to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
